A Zinc version of the Erkennungsmarke in very good condition and unit marked Stammkompanie, Grenadiers-Ersatz-Bataillon I/486 soldier ID: 5414 with Bloodtype: AB

This unit was established on the 7th of September 1939 in Wels (Austria) as 486 as a Reserve (Ersatz) Infanterie Unit and was renamed to I/486 on the 5th of February 1940.

This Dog-Tag (Erkennungsmarke) is out of Jean Höidal’s collection and is being published in his reference book “Deutsche Erkennungsmarken”.
