Until 1941 Luftwaffe flying personal was wearing bulky one-piece flight suits, which were designed years before. That year a new, innovative and comfortable flight suit was introduced: The brand new two-piece "Channel Suits". The sets were called this way, because of they were used a lot above the Channel during the "Battle of Britain". Consisting of a pair of trousers with all sorts of handy pockets for storing survival gear, flight maps and personal belongings. While the jackets had a nice, modern, tailored cut using the best fabrics.
