This is a genuine Mother’s Cross in Bronze (Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter), instituted on 16 December 1938 as part of the Third Reich’s family honor program. Awarded to mothers of three children, the bronze class represents the third tier of this national decoration.

The cross features a bronze-finished Maltese cross with blue and white enamel, a radiating sunburst behind the swastika emblem, and the words “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (To the German Mother). The reverse is engraved with the award date 16 Dezember 1938 and facsimile signature. It includes the original blue and white neck ribbon, still intact and in very good condition.
