Authentic WWII German Iron Cross 2nd Class, complete with its original black, white, and red ribbon. Instituted in 1939, the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse was awarded for acts of bravery in combat or military leadership on the battlefield. This decoration features the classic magnetic iron core with a silvered frame, displaying the swastika and the 1939 date on the obverse, with the 1813 date on the reverse—commemorating the original Iron Cross instituted by King Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia.
