DAF Deutsche Arbeitsfront Armband – Bevo Woven
Outstanding example of an original WWII-era DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) armband, featuring the distinctive toothed gear and swastika emblem woven in black thread on a light blue fabric background. This is a textbook Bevo machine-woven construction, showcasing authentic period craftsmanship.
The armband remains in excellent condition, with crisp details, vibrant colors, and only minimal age toning. It appears unissued and unused, making it a top-tier collector's piece. The reverse side reveals the emblem mirrored in the weave, and the top and bottom edges are finished with proper woven selvage.
This piece includes a clear DAF unit ink stamp on the front and a “26” maker code woven into the seam at the rear. The armband is stitched together at the back in the correct wartime fashion.
A rare and highly desirable Third Reich labor organization armband, difficult to upgrade in terms of condition and authenticity.
