Early Luftwaffe Brown Leather Belt with Aluminum Buckle
This is a beautiful example of an early-war Luftwaffe (Air Force) enlisted man’s belt, featuring the highly desirable aluminum buckle with the early Luftwaffe eagle emblem, encircled by a detailed oak leaf wreath. The buckle shows honest wear and retains excellent detail, with a beautifully aged patina that highlights its wartime character.
The belt itself is crafted from high-quality brown leather, typical of early Luftwaffe equipment, and measures approximately 85 cm in length. The leather is still supple, with strong stitching and no repairs, cracks, or tears—making it a functional and collectible piece for a Luftwaffe collection.
This combination of brown belt and aluminum buckle was phased out later in the war, making original examples like this harder to find.
