Luftwaffe Technical Preparatory School Patch – Techn. Vorschule d. Luftwaffe Suhl (No. 3)

This is an original WWII-era cloth patch from the Technische Vorschule der Luftwaffe (Technical Preparatory School of the German Air Force), specifically from School No. 3 in Suhl. These patches were worn by Luftwaffe students (Hitler Jugend) undergoing technical training prior to formal military service.

The patch is made from Luftwaffe blue cloth and features finely embroidered golden-yellow text and numbering. The front reads "Techn. Vorschule d. Luftwaffe – Suhl – 3", indicating the school number and location. The embroidery remains in excellent condition with some minor wear, consistent with age and storage. The reverse shows typical period construction and thread patterns.

These preparatory schools were part of the German military education infrastructure during the Third Reich and played a role in training young men in aviation mechanics, engineering, and technical disciplines before entering active duty in the Luftwaffe.
