This is a genuine Wehrmacht Infantry Assault Badge in Silver, awarded to German Army infantrymen who participated in at least three separate infantry assaults on different days during WWII.

This example is maker marked "FLL" (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid), a well-documented wartime manufacturer. The badge is constructed from zinc, and retains traces of its original silver finish with natural age patina.
