This is a genuine WWII Luftwaffe Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM) single shoulder board, worn by a senior official or beamte attached to the German Ministry of Aviation. The black underlay and silver cord designate administrative personnel, while the three rank pips and the RLM cypher identify the wearer as holding a high administrative rank within the Air Ministry structure.

Industrially produced with fine silver wire tress surrounding a dark wool backing, this shoulder board remains in very good condition with original fastening prongs intact. The detailed RLM monogram device is well-defined and seldom encountered, making this a desirable piece for Luftwaffe collectors.
