German SA Reserve Armband – Early Wool Construction

This is an authentic SA Reserve armband, produced during the period and constructed from red wool with machine-applied roundel. The armband features the distinctive black swastika on white circle, stitched directly to the band using a visible zig-zag pattern typical of early paramilitary production. Both top and bottom borders are reinforced with tan trim cloth, identifying it as a Reserve unit armband variant rather than the standard SA type.

This period example displays honest age and wear, including patina to the roundel and some expected fabric discoloration from time in storage, contributing to its desirable original character. No modern reproduction parts or post-war alterations—a true example of German paramilitary history.
