Category:
€ 195,00
An attractive and unusually scarce DLV (Deutscher Luftsport Verband) visor cap eagle, manufactured by the renowned maker Paulmann & Crone of Lüdenscheid. This finely crafted pre-war cap insignia represents an important piece from the organization that served as the predecessor to the Luftwaffe and played a key role in German aviation activities during the 1930s.
Produced in bright silver-toned metal, this elegant cap device features detailed outstretched wings and retains its original high-quality enamel finish, which remains fully intact and free from damage. The reverse is clearly marked “Paulmann & Crone – Lüdenscheid” and additionally bears the “Ges. Gesch.” patent protection marking, confirming its period manufacture.
The insignia remains in excellent condition, showing only light signs of having once been mounted to a visor cap. Both original attachment prongs are present, secure, and fully functional. With an impressive wingspan of approximately 7.2 cm, this is a highly desirable example for collectors of early German aviation memorabilia and pre-war Luftwaffe-related insignia.
