Luftwaffe Officer’s Side Cap – Near-Mint Condition

This is a fine example of an authentic WWII Luftwaffe officer’s side cap (Schiffchen), presented in near-mint condition and showcasing the iconic style of the German Air Force during the Second World War.

Constructed from Luftwaffe blue-grey wool, this cap features silver officer’s piping around the crown and front, denoting officer rank. The national eagle and cockade are hand-applied, as was typical for private-purchase or tailor-finished headgear. The insignia is correct for Luftwaffe officer headwear and is tightly stitched with clear detail.
